Kelda CD Review
By Adam Bowman A slightly carefree attitude besetting a light-jazz backdrop is the best way to describe Kelda. Andrew Glazer, Geoffrey Jost, D. Gray, and Kelda herself combine to form a band that's not going to form huge mosh pits in the crowd or rock the main stage at Ozzfest, but a band that is going to appeal to all generations with a warm smile and an inquisitive voice. Songs like "Fairytale" and "Lately" provide surprisingly technical grooves while giving Kelda herself a good chance to show off her impressive voice. The girl's got strength in those lungs, but just enough touch to give it a soft feel. "Amusing" proves that the band is capable of making radio-friendly material, usually a plus in the industry these days. No, it's not heavy metal...by no means. However, if you are wanting something that you can enjoy and prove to your friends that you do, in fact, have a variety of music, then Kelda is a band that warrants a chance.
