Artist: Chimaira CD Review |

CD Title: The Impossibility of Reason Label: Roadrunner Records by Adam Bowman Slicing together twelve songs worthy of any hardcore fan's collection, Clevland's Chimaira makes an impressive step onto the heavy metal stage. Their sophomore album, "The Impossibility of Reason", showcases a fury that is definately legit. "Pure Hatred" and "Cleansation" overflow with a power comparable to Pantera, while "Down Again" opens with a beautifully old school guitar solo/piano trio, courtesy of Chris Spicuzza, Matt DeVries, and Rob Arnold. On the whole, "The Impossibility of Reason" is decisively metal, and a great pick-up for any fan of the hardcore brand. |
