The rowdy quartet known as Full Blown Chaos brought their East Coast metal-core back to LA just before calling an end to their solo tour. FBC are Mike and Jeff Facci, Ed Conroy, and Ray Mazzola playing guitar, drums, bass, and vocals respectively. This hard-core force of nature leveled the Sunset Strip club with their brand of musical anarchy, proving that low-crowds and even deadly spider bites can't keep this band down. As expected the band played tightly with Ray at the helm pouring out vocals soaked in rage and anguish carried on the power of the bands thrashing metallic guitars. Vocalist Ray Mazzola who recently had a tangle with a black widow spider played the LA show without missing a beat. Now that's what I call hard-core! If he wasn't feeling 100% at this show you'd never know it. The next week the band would have to cancel shows so that Ray could fully recover from this ordeal.
 
 
Mazzola managed to connect often with the crowd during and in-between the songs. In his commentary you saw what was really the driving force beneath the rage-welded lyrical content, heart. There is plenty of heart in what this band does and that passion drives them with a heavy-handed force. They played songs from the first CD "Wake the Demons" but they did managed to toss out a hand-full of tunes from the forthcoming release "Within the Grasp of Titans" due to hit the streets on July 11th. There was a smaller than usual but extremely devout following of fans in attended. What little pit there was remained in continuous motion. Agitated bodies were flailing in unison to the musical carnage. Without a fully packed mosh pit to absorb the mammoth sound FBC sonic-boom is big enough to peel the paint off the walls. Both the audience and club survived the night intact, but unsure of what they'd just gone through. Too bad the attendance at the Whisky was kinda light that night. People really missed out.
