| Babyland has been playing their crossover-hardcore
harsh electro dance music for a long enough time to have it down to a
T. Even with the equipment and power problems, they still manage to put
on a kinetic, high-energy show. Babyland uses heavy pulsing synths and
live percussion ranging from saws to metal pipes to excellent effect,
and their two-man live show carries more punch than many bands with three
times their membership. The crowd, ranging from pubescent punks to older
rockers, goths, and everything in-between, obviously loved their performance.
After opening bands that left many of the audience livid, Babyland served
as a rousing climax to the evening.
